The general idea with Single-Player is for players to go through & complete the main story, finish side-quests, level up skills, and kill creatures.Īll player progress will be tracked and updated through our "Highscores" system. Single-Player will be playable offline & online. When the game is considered complete, it will be open source, and free for all. The game will be entirely programmed by myself, help coming from those who wish to help. Some of my ideas will come from the game "Fable 2", and credits for those ideas will be directed at Lion Studios. Updates on the game will be checked during the initial game load, and downloaded if the user chooses the option. I'm debating on making an installation or just a file download. You'll only have to load one batch/exe file for the game to execute. The single-player will be an entire download, source/client. Using everything from the 744 cache, I'll be creating custom content (where I excel at, truthfully), and custom experiences with the game. My objective with this project is to create an entire new experience with the RuneScape game engine. Well, first up, RSSRPG stands for RuneScape Single-Player Role Playing Game.
